Anxiety Disorders

Types of anxiety disorders
There are many different types of anxiety disorders, including:
Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD): GAD is characterized by persistent and excessive worry about a variety of things. People with GAD may worry about their health, finances, relationships, or work.
Panic disorder: Panic disorder is characterized by sudden and unexpected panic attacks. Panic attacks are episodes of intense fear that can cause physical symptoms such as heart palpitations, sweating, and trembling.

Causes of anxiety disorders

Treatment for anxiety disorders
Anxiety disorders are treatable with a variety of methods, including therapy and medication. Therapy can help people to understand their anxiety and develop coping mechanisms. Medication can help to reduce the symptoms of anxiety.
